Julia is a native of Livingston County, Michigan, where she and her husband have raised their two young adult children.

Julia's leadership coaching training comes from the Thinking Collaborative initiative brought to Michigan schools under the FAME project. After 14 years of classroom teaching, she started Instructional Coaching Services of Michigan, focusing on consulting educators in curriculum adoption. She has spent time in higher education supporting faculty in their teaching practices, and then all employees as the Director of Employee Development. Over the last ten years, Julia has partnered with dozens of organizations, supporting faculty, staff, executive, and HR leaders to enhance employee engagement, succession planning, and positive culture-building initiatives, including well-being programs.

Today, as Principal Executive Coach of Keider Consulting Group, Julia works with leaders and administrators focusing on HR-related territories, such as brand recognition, hiring, onboarding, leadership development, employee relations, well-being, team retention, exits, and coaching mindsets for personal and professional efficacy.

Julia is a Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and received the Certification for Professionals with the Association for Talent Development (CPTD). She is also an Authorized Partner with the Wiley Brand - Everything DiSC resources, and educated in POSITIVE INTELLIGENCE®.
