"Getting Out of the Weeds"  Reclaiming the ‘Why’ of Leadership Through Mental Fitness

Many leaders—especially those managing high-level VPs—fall into a dangerous trap: they micromanage the "How" and "What" because they have lost touch with their "Why." This creates a leadership vacuum. When a leader gets stuck in the tactical weeds, they aren't just over-functioning; they are actively sabotaging the Vision, Alignment, and Execution of their entire organization.

This session introduces a human-centered approach to leadership identity. By integrating the DiSC Work of Leaders framework with the neuroscience of Positive Intelligence (PQ), we help leaders identify the "Saboteurs" (like the Controller or the Pleaser) that drive them into the weeds. We shift the focus from compliance-driven management to influence-driven leadership, providing a "North Star" for leaders to gather others to their cause

Flexibility is not a dirty "F" word

Part of the Teach Them Learning Series

In this session, participants will gain insights into one of the most fundamental leadership competencies: Flexibility. Leaders understand that being agile is an important part of guiding people, and in developing strategy for an organization to thrive. Regardless of its awareness, however, leaders still struggle with modeling flexibility to find the sweet spot for effective leadership for all.
